Frigidaire Frost in Freezer
The complaint of Frigidaire frost in freezer is a very common one. The top mount unit can generate a lot of ice in the air tower.
Ice can be seen building up on the back wall and around the air tower.
If ice builds up enough it can stop the evaporator fan motor from running due to touching the fan blade.
By removing the air tower from the back panel it reveals a massive amount of ice.
Since the duct work that supplies cool air to the fresh food section has been cut off by the ice. Now the fresh food section is too warm.
Finally all the ice has been cleared and the fan motor is now running, “Frigidaire Frost in Freezer” problem solved.
